Batons, Ballast & Foam
Once the hull and the superstructure were completed in steel, the boat moved to the fit out area where batons were installed to attach the interior fittings, The floor area was coated in bitumen and concreate ballast was installed. Afterward the wooden flooring was installed. After this, the interior was sprayed with foam to insulate from heat, cold and sound. After the foam was dry, it was cut back to reveal the batons which allow for further fixing.
